Yogeeta and Alwin’s lovely love story combines the cultures of Kerala and Punjab. These two were studying for their Masters in architecture when they fell in love. Being a Punjabi at heart, Yogeeta never anticipated falling in love with a Malay boy! Although Alwin and Yogeeta had been friends in the past, they barely knew one another. They talked and got to know each other for hours on the day of their departure.

But they were in for some ups and downs in life! They had no clue that the distance between them would be so great when they finally met in March 2020. Alwin was stranded in Kerala while Yogeeta remained in Delhi due to the nationwide lockdown brought on by the pandemic. They had no idea that they would develop feelings for one another at this time.

They were separated for nearly a year, yet they kept in touch with hours-long FaceTime sessions! Alwin finally requested her parents for her hand in marriage after Yogeeta invited him to her sister’s wedding in Delhi. After that, there was no turning back!

The pair made sure that the Punjabi and Malayali traditions could coexist peacefully as they embarked on the emotional rollercoaster of marriage. In Kerala, they enjoyed a gorgeous destination wedding that was absolutely gorgeous! With a breathtaking Malayali Christian wedding and a Punjabi wedding on a ship, two lovely cultures came together for the wedding.
